After the same agitation and vacuuming as above the carpet is pre-sprayed with cleaning solution and agitated in.  Then we use a “bonnet” fitted to a rotary brush and dampened with solution to “massage” the soiling from the carpet to the bonnet, which is occasionally rinsed, squeezed and re applied to continue the process until no further soiling is lifted.  The pile is then re-set and your carpet will be left only very slightly damp.

This process is used where soiling is only light or on carpets prone to shrinkage when over wetted.
